The Rhino-Rack Steel Mesh Basket is constructed from tough steel, offering you strong and durable transport for your extra gear. Our baskets are zinc-plated and powder-coated black, so they won't rust or fade.
Whether you're escaping the city for the weekend, camping with the kids, on a road trip with mates or thinking about a large shopping spree, the Steel Mesh Basket can handle your cargo. Keep the interior of your vehicle for friends and family instead of bulky gear and leave nothing important behind.
The Rhino-Rack Rack Steel Mesh Basket is available in different sizes; Large, Medium and Small, for all your storage needs.
Please note that your roof rack crossbars must be wider than the width of the basket. Please refer to your vehicle manufacturer specifications for maximum roof loading taking into consideration the weight of your crossbars and accessories.

A1. The easiest way to fit the Mesh Basket is to place your basket in the desired position, take the U-bolt and secure one nut first to the prong around the crossbar. This will make it easier to secure your second bolt without struggle. Repeat for all U-bolts and nuts.

A2. Most people want to position the Steel Mesh Basket in the centre of their vehicle for aesthetic reasons but consider utilising the edge of your crossbars so that when you want to load and unload your gear it is easier.
